Planning Assessment Commission approves Master Plan for St. Catherine’s School for Girls’ in Waverley, NSW.

St. Catherine’s School for Girls is Australia’s oldest independent Anglican girls school delivering a contemporary curriculum and 21st century learning to both day and boarding students. (K-12).

In addition to academic excellence, St. Catherine’s School encourages their students to pursue their passions and offer many extra curricular opportunities including sport, music and the arts.

St. Catherine’s School appointed Sandrick as their Project Managers to manage the Design Development of the School’s staged campus Master Plan and the procurement of all required development approvals.

Working closely with the school community, Sandrick managed the preparation and submission of a development application seeking concept approval for a staged campus Master Plan and detailed approval for Stage 1 of the Master Plan. Stage 1 of the Master Plan involves the construction of a multi-storey learning facility comprising of an underground carpark, research centre, +500 seat performing arts auditorium and an indoor aquatic centre. Sandrick was actively involved in ongoing liaison and communications including community consultation, local government authorities and agencies,

the NSW Department of Planning and Environment and the Planning Assessment Commission during the preparation, submission and assessment of the application.

The Planning Assessment Commission resolved to approve the application in April, 2016.
