Watson – ACT

Sandrick Pty. Ltd. was engaged by Australian Catholic University as Project Managers for the design development and delivery of a new 5 Green Star as constructed Library and Student Commons facility located at Watson, ACT now known as The Veritas Building.

Sandrick Pty. Ltd. have been involved with the project commencing with development of the Client Brief via extensive stakeholder engagement and user workshops.

The project incorporated a range of new facilities including:

  • Campus Library
  • Ask ACU
  • Student Commons
  • Administration and Executive offices
  • Flexible learning spaces
  • Cafe
  • Student breakout and study spaces
  • External landscape & pedestrian links to the balance of the campus

Due to site constraints causing delays to the construction, the project was successfully delivered over two stages to ensure the facility was certified and operational on Day 1 of Semester 1, 2017.
