ACU Blacktown Campus

Project Details

Sandrick were engaged part way through early stages of the project to complete the Authorities Approval process through to completion of the new ACU campus in Blacktown.

Blacktown Council previously occupied the building requiring works to be delivered in multiple stages whilst Blacktown Council migrated to new premises.

The pre-existing 6 storey commercial tower underwent significant upgrades to accommodate the change of use from Commercial building to Educational establishment. Existing commercial spaces were transformed into a combination of wet and dry laboratories, nursing labs, Library, General Learning Areas, breakout spaces, Interactive GLA’s and collaboration spaces, providing a new Western Sydney campus capable of accommodating over 800 new students.

The project was executed in a dynamic setting, closely overseen by Blacktown Council, adhering to tight budgetary constraints and a critical timeline to meet ACU’s operational needs.
