SCEGGS Darlinghurst

Master Plan 2040

Project Details

SCEGGS Darlinghurst completed an updated Master Plan for their campus which culminated in a formal request to the NSWDP&E being made for SEAR’s in December 2017. Following receipt of the SEARs in 2018, Sandrick was appointed as project managers to coordinate and manage specialist consultant procurement and input into the SSD application.

The application involved a concept approval for a three-stage Master Plan and the detailed approval for the first stage. The three stages involve the demolition of an existing building to create contemporary agile learning environments and associated student support facilities. The second stage is the restoration of a heritage building on site and construction of a new administration centre. The final stage involves the development of a multi-purpose learning facility, an “on-site’ drop-off and pick-up facility and car park and the creation of key pedestrian links between the junior and senior precincts of the campus.

The SSD application was successfully submitted in early 2019 with the exhibition period closing in late March.
